I learned that I phone home (A.T. phone home kekeke) twice as much as usual during the last two weeks of a quarter. It’s just so comforting to hear Mom tell me about how many boxes of Honey Nut Cheerios she bought for me, or ask me if I finished all my veggies yet.

Set the table for six, for the two missing sibs. Realized it is 2013 and we can eat LNY dinner together even with 1,256 miles between us. BAM! Laptop on dining table in their usual dining spots. Grandma so cute thinking computer is broken because brother did some unnecessary dance moves. Now I know I made the right decision when I decided to come home.
